What is a Schengen Visa?

TEST:  A Schengen visa is a short-stay visa that allows a person to travel to any members of the Schengen Area, per stays up to 90 days for tourism or business purposes.

The Schengen visa is the most common visa for Europe. It enables its holder to enter, freely travel within, and leave the Schengen zone from any of the Schengen member countries. There are no border controls within the Schengen Zone.

However, if you are planning to study, work, or live in one of the Schengen countries for more than 90 days, then you must apply for a national visa of that European country and not a Schengen Visa.

Quick fact: Over 15 million people used their Schengen visas in 2019 to travel around Europe.

Hello, Looking for information on how to obtain a Schengen Business Visa for a co-worker. She currently holds a India passport and is on a work permit in Cork, Ireland. Only January 15th she will have her residence cork visa. She also currently holds a US Business Visa. She will need to travel to Selzach, Switzerland at the end of February so we will need to act quickly. Any guidance that you can provide. Thank you. Best regards, Eileen

Onboarding remote employees is often an overlooked aspect of business operations, especially for small businesses. Many view it as a mere formality, failing to recognize its significant impact on employee retention and overall team performance. Research from the Work Institute reveals a staggering statistic: 37% of employee turnover occurs within the first 90 days of employment, primarily due to inadequate onboarding experiences. This highlights the importance of a well-structured onboarding process that goes beyond basic introductions to create a strong foundation for success. At Pavago, we understand the critical role onboarding plays in fostering employee engagement, reducing turnover, and driving productivity. By prioritizing thoughtful onboarding practices, businesses can set their remote teams up for long-term success and growth. https://www.pavago.co/
