Hi, this is a message to the Bedford consulate. I live in Kempston, I was born in the UK to an Italian mother from the Monte Cassino Lazio area and a Ukrainian father. My mother is now 85 years old and lives alone in the place she was born. My mother has been having trouble with her eyes for a few years and her vision getting slowly worse. In April of this year as I was there on holiday to help, she had the cataract removed from one eye. This has made vision a little better, but sadly the doctor has confirmed my mother has macular degeneration. My mother can no longer drive safely but has no one else to help her. I wish to help and live with my mum so I can get her to appointments and doctors. I need to become an Italian citizen or due nationality. I have been trying to do this for the last 2 years I am no further forward. My mum is desperate. Is there anything I can do please advise. Kind regards Tina Dale-Molloy
