Good evening! My mother in law is from Syria, and she is at the moment visiting my husband sister in Canada. She will be travelling back to Syria and her husband in the end of January but she would like to stop by Sweden. Since the situation in Syria is not so good and secure- me, my husband and our baby hasn´t been able to visit my mother in law in Syria, and therefor she wants to take the opportunity to stay a while in Sweden before she goes back to Syria. And thats why she needs to apply for schengen visa- and I saw that your embassy is close to where she stays now in Canada. Is it possible for her to apply at your embassy? She has a Syrian passport. Kind regards, Kajsa Toumeh Åkesson.
