Italy and Ethiopia Relations-

The Italy and Ethiopia enjoy cordial bilateral relations. The high commission's diplomatic mission's mandate is to forge stronger and closer ties between the two countries. Pursuing bilateral and multilateral cooperation in diverse sectors, including culture, defense, tourism, trade and investments, science and technology, security, and other fields while safeguarding mutual benefits, is vital for their relations. The countries are cooperating to resolve global issues like climate change, piracy, terrorism, cybersecurity, etc. The Italy is the most important source market for tourism in Ethiopia.

Dear Italian Embassy in Addis Ababa, hopefully this message finds you well. My name is Shimelis Gebreab Abebe, and I am a Lecturer and Chief Technical Assistance at Wollo University, Kombolcha Institute of Technology in Ethiopia. I am currently pursuing a fellowship program at Skolkovo Institute of Technology (Skoltech) in Moscow and plan to return to Ethiopia on September 28th. I have been accepted into the Master's program at the University of Naples Federico II, and my classes are scheduled to begin on October 1st. Due to this tight timeline, I am requesting a visa appointment as soon as possible upon my return to Ethiopia, preferably by October 2nd. I have attached the necessary supporting documents, including my DOV and other relevant information.
