I have been trying to schedule an appointment with the Portuguese Embassy in Tel Aviv in order to apply for my Cartão de Cidadão, as part of the process of obtaining my Portuguese passport. We have already spent time this year in the Schengen Area due to these circumstances, and are now planning to temporarily leave Israel once again and stay in Rome with our children. Obtaining my Portuguese passport is essential in order to remain legally within the Schengen Area for more than 90 days, and to ensure greater safety and stability for my family.
